Questions merchants ask
Where does the label data come from?
From your products in Shopify: prices and compare-at prices, inventory, creation date, tags, type, vendor and collections. There is no way to show a fake discount, fake stock count or a bestseller badge on a product that isn't in your bestseller collection.
Will it slow my store down or make the page jump?
Which labels apply is decided in your theme's Liquid, on Shopify's servers, and saved in your store's own metafields — your storefront never calls our servers. The small deferred script only places the labels, absolutely positioned inside the image box, so nothing on the page moves. The inline labels block and trust badges need no JavaScript at all.
Does it work with my theme?
It works with Horizon, Dawn and other Online Store 2.0 themes out of the box. Switch on the Product labels app embed and add the Trust badges block under your buy buttons. If a theme uses unusual markup, the app embed has settings for its product card and image selectors — no code editing.
What about product cards on my home page?
On collection and search pages the labels are decided in Liquid. For cards elsewhere (home page sections, recommendations) the script reads the product from your own store's standard product data when the card scrolls into view, and applies the same rules.
Which payment icons are shown?
Exactly the payment methods your store has switched on, using Shopify's own icons, so they're always accurate.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Your labels and trust blocks are kept. The first three labels that don't use Pro features and your first trust block stay live; the rest switch off until you upgrade again.
